PDF Shelter in Place with Free EASY Reading!

I have loved everything David Leavitt has written and eagerly awaited what sounded like a fun premise. Unfortunately, the most fun was in the premise. The reviews that say it is 'laugh out loud funny' must have extra pages in their copy that are missing from mine. There are some clever lines but I did not find any of the characters to be really engaging (especially the main characters, Eva and Bruce).In every one of his books (and I recommend them all), there were always passages/turns of phrase/dialogue that were so elegant and lyrical that I would reread them just for the repeated enjoyment of his prose. I did not find it here.I remain a David Leavitt fan and will always buy his books. If you are new to him, I would encourage to check out some of his other books as well
